09:00 - Registration Opens

09:30 - Dr Julian Brown - GP, PCN Clinical Director & Eclipse Clinical Lead
Protect - Proactive Risk Optimisation Through Eclipse Clinical Triage
How Can We Deliver Transformational Change to Improve Work Well Initiatives and Reduce Emergency Admissions?

What are the Key 14 programmes to transform healthcare and working well initiatives and how can these be effortlessly implemented across each ICB?

10:10 - Professor Tony Avery - NHSE National Clinical Director for Prescribing
Prescribing Protect - The Impact of Prescribing
Each year over a billion prescriptions are generated in primary care. Most of these medications are highly efficacious but a significant number have the potential to cause harm for patients. Deprived patient groups are more likely to receive medications associated with poor outcomes and less likely to receive protective agents. A systematic approach to reviewing these at-risk individuals can significantly improve health outcomes and working well initiatives.

10:40 - Professor Ramsey Cutress
Professor of Breast Surgery University of Southampton and University Hospital Southampton
Cancer Protect
The Stage of Cancer diagnosis is variable across different regions and different patient cohorts. Patients with vulnerable traits are often diagnosed later. There also appears to be an increase in the number of low-risk patients being referred for 2 week wait services.

Early-stage diagnosis is important to optimise cancer outcomes. A systematic approach to ensure that those at highest risk receive appropriate evaluation and surveillance to improve health outcomes and working well initiatives.

11.10 - Mid Morning Break

11.30 - Dr Sebastian Brown - Eclipse Digital Transformation Lead
Health Protect
How can we dynamically engage with all NHS patients to better understand their individualised needs, preferences and risk scores in relation to health care outcomes and working well initiatives?

12:00 - Dr Max Yates - Clinical Associate Professor and Honorary Consultant Rheumatologist
Biologics Protect
Biologics can be some of the most impactful agents to improve patient outcomes but the selection process for individuals is variable and despite the significant costs of these agents their outcomes are not formally evaluated. A systematic approach to monitoring all patients across your ICB can significantly improve the cost-effectiveness, equality of care and health outcomes for your region.

12:30 - Dr James Ferguson - East of England Primary Care Lead for Genomics
Equality of Care
How can we deliver enhanced surveillance, identification and equitable support of individuals through genomic support programmes?

13.00 - Lunch

13:45 - Professor Simon Kenny - National Clinical Director for Children and Young People

Using integrated data to assist in the identification, prioritisation, engagement and impact assessment of children support services.

14:15 - Dr Robin Gore - East of England Respiratory Clinical Lead
